VILMA SANTOS SAYS LUIS WAS NEVER A "TWO TIMER"

This was exactly what Star for All Seasons and Lipa 6th District Representative Vilma Santos said during the taping of "I Can See Your Voice" Monday night at ABS-CBN studios.   Vilma defended his son who has been branded "playboy."  Luis has had serious relationships with some of the country's popular actresses including Angel Locsin and Jennylyn Mercado. His current girlfriend is Jessy Mendiola.  Coincidentally, all the three ladies mentioned were all recipients of popular Men's magazine (FHM) "Sexiest Woman Alive." 

Luis was unaware that his mom was going to be his special guest on his show's birthday presentation for him.  He thought that  his guest was just another celebrity until his mom just suddenly walked in from backstage to surprise him.  

Vilma describes Luis as a very loving son and brother to his siblings but on top of it all, she's proud to say that Luis is a very generous person.  Not known to many, Luis has done numerous  charities (albeit unpublished); while other celebrities flaunt their charity works complete with photographers and people from the media, Luis chose to be private.   I witnessed how Luis shed tears when a group of young cancer patients sang a song in front of him when he paid a visit to Childhaus about four years ago.  Childhaus is a temporary shelter for young cancer patients from different provinces who have no place to stay in Metro Manila while undergoing medical treatment.  Everybody knows how generous Luis is, proof of this was when he pledged a number of times to help some of his show's participants who had difficulty in overcoming their families' financial problems. Unaware of the show's staff surprise for him, at least 7 or 8 of those whom Luis helped showed up at thanked him once again for his unconditional help.  His mom could not contain her emotion and thankfully says that she is indeed proud of her son's good deeds. 

One of the highlights of the episode was when Kiray and Ate Vi did a parody of a scene from the  movie "Bata Bata Paano Ka Ginawa." The audience burst into laughter when Vilma slapped Kiray and not to be outdone, Bayani Agbayani did the same skit to the delight of the audience.

Watch out for the airing of this episode on Saturday April 21 right after the "PGT."  April 21, is also the actual birthday of Luis.
